Open Mural Project Proposals
As a public artist, I conceive community projects that result in murals or mosaics that are culturally significant and decorative. Listed below are synopsis of open projects that are seeking funding, walls and stakeholders.
Shore to Love Mural Tour 2013
A small group of female muralists will execute small murals about Jersey Shore love. Delia King, Chroma Dolls Collective, Diana Gonzalez and Tara Wosiski will paint many little murals from Long Branch to Long Beach Island.
These murals will inspire an excitement about reclaiming the Post-Sandy shoreline. As the summer months bring in tourists to the newly recovered coast, they will have to added experience of painting with renowned artists at community paint events.
Sister Rosetta Tharpe Mural and Event
Sister Rosetta Tharpe Day is January 11th in the State of Pennsylvania. I wish to design a mural inspired by art/music happenings collaborated with community activists, religious gospel leaders and neighbor artists, resulting in a big festival in the Yorktown section of Philadelphia.

This amazing woman could play the guitar like no one else, bringing traditional gospel music into the mad vernacular of blues. She electrified dance halls and saloons with her rockin' gospel guitar.

She went home in 1973 and is buried under a shade tree in West Oak Lane, Philadelphia.
Spring Flurry
This craft-based suspended artwork uses upcycled materials to create an ethereal spiral flight. The forms would be influenced by the indigenous airborne seed plants.

This piece would look good in an interior public space like a transit stations, large recreation center or corporate lobby.
